Love Ya Like a Fat Kid Loves Cake

I am supposed to learn how to cook today. We'll see how that turns out.
I got a haircut. It sucks. Man I wish I had a brownie sundae right now. It'd be delicious. I got back to school this friday. It's craziness.

I am watching Aly and AJ's Super Sweet Sixteen Playlist of favorite Sweet Sixteen shows. Before I've been watching The Hills considering I haven't seen the past two seasons. I've caught up pretty quickly because they don't talk about anything else. Lo made a guest appearance. I hope she is always on the show b/c she is awesome. I also hope that Stephen will make an appearance except he's all on trl these days.

Here's my Seven Minutes in Heaven Playlist
It's a compilation and evidence that the best songs are 7 minutes long with the exception of one that is basically 7 minutes long.

1. Galang (7:20) - M.I.A.
2. Atlas (7:070 - Battles
3. All My Friends (7:37) - LCD Soundsystem
4. Only in Dreams (7:59) - Weezer
5. Saeglopur (7:38) - Sigur Ros
. (You Are Trying to Break My Heart (6:58) - Wilco)
6. Catastrophe and Cure (7:56) - Explosions in the Sky
7. Transatlanticism (7:55) - Death Cab for Cutie

Honorable Mentions: The Dull Flame of Desire (7:30) - Bjork; Dinner Bells (7:34) - Wolf Parade; Champagne Supernova (7:27) - Oasis

I guess if I took out the Wilco song I'd be cable to have a perfect 7 list. So I'll put it in parentheses are you happy?

aw man today I bought 5 new movies for $16. What a steal! That means they were about $3 or so each! Yes. They were used but uh guess what movies I got. Life Aquatic, Thumbsucker, I <3 Huckabees, Junebug, and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Sweet right? God my belly aches from eating this huge burrito. I will be full for days.

All My Friends

Ok.

This summer has probably one of the best of my life. It might be because I don't really remember anything from my other summers, but this one has been quite glorious.

Lollapalooza was last weekend and it was more then I could ever imagine it could be. It just started with a bang. It was hot, but it always is. I went only for $60. I saw a bunch of people who I never thought I'd see. It just multiplied my love for the bands that I saw by ten fold. It was just so much. I think it might have helped that the turn out of lolla was terrible and we got pretty close to all the bands we liked without having to miss any other bands by waiting a hour before hand. It was just TOO good. Friday was probably the most glorious of all days. I just want to break down and cry just at the thought of all the amazingness that I felt that day.

Then I just came back from a roadtrip to Graceland with a stop to metropolis, IL. Maybe because I set my expectations really low for the trip. Although I was really excited. I really had no idea what to expect from the rock star's home. It was really funny because we went to these places that are probably a mecca to fans. There we were not die hard fans of either superman or elvis. Paying a tribute to both. Buying ridiculous souvenirs of both. It was more then I could ever dream of. We ate a sonic. Not my first time, but it is always glorious. It is ALWAYS glorious.

Well I have to reenter the real world now. With school and books and work. Sleep is overrated.

Ha I still feel like I could break into tears at how happy I am. It's crazy how happy I feel.

Your Eyes Are A Shiny Shimmery Fire

Day 3 of Sanita's Hibernation.

Worked till close yesterday. It was ok. Didn't get a bonus. Not that busy. Overall good.

Had a chem test today. I think I did relatively well. There really wasn't anything that I was stumped on. There was a really hard balancing equation involved fractions and everything. That probably took me a good 30 minutes to do. My paper was a mess. But I still like to believe that I did relatively well meaning that I couldn't do as bad as I did on the last test.

If I could have an object that existed in Harry Potter meaning that if I could step into that world and buy an object that is attainable it would be the sneakoscope. Well for right now because I just want to see people's motives at this point. Of course I would want an invisibility cloak, but Harry has that and there is only one in existence. So a sneakoscope is something I could easily buy and it'd be useful. Well I'm sure there are other objects that I am totally forgetting. There tents sound really awesome to me. I'd definitely go camping then. The various foods sound glorious. But for now I am going to stick with the sneakoscope.

I said I wasn't going to use the internet during my hibernation, but obviously that is a lie and it is impossible because I get bored. Procrastination. Start searching for music. Write a blog. Check email, horoscope, weather.

I am trying to get through my whole shuffle of about 3844 songs, but considering that is 10 days worth of music and my batteries only last 14hours(?) I don't think I am going to make it. Well I am not listening to every song but I just want to see if my ipod is using every song and its not cheating by repeating songs. Yesterday it was sneaky and play 3 page france songs in a row. Given they were my 3 favorite songs by them (We Remain As Two, Elephant, Jesus because I haven't listened to their newest album completely) I still thought that was highly suspicious. ( I am on song 457)

My brothers probably find it really strange that I've actually been in the house for a while. I don't know how they do it but they find a lot a time to spend here. Well I guess the tv watching and video game playing will get you. I keep telling them to get a job. They are so flipping lazy. I was going to recommend my brother to domino's but he is obviously too incompetent to even handle school I don't think he could do both. There goes my $50 bonus.

(My ipod just played 2 Sufjan songs in row. Currently playing To Be Alone With You. Well I do have 100 songs by Sufjan but still ipod is weird)

I made a playlist and it is about cats well or have meowing in the song

Where I'm anymore - Grandaddy
Plea from a cat named virtue - The Weakerthans
Paper Kitten Nightmare - Margot and the Nuclear So & Sos
Leaf House - Animal Collective
If you rescue me - Science of Sleep Soundtrack

I don't like cats or kittens, but if I were to change my mind it would be because of these glorious songs.

July!, July!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Seriously is how my brain feels. It is going to explode. I mean I have indeed finished the last installment of the Harry Potter series. The book was quite the journey and action packed. I mean you know how you feel after you watch and action movie. You're all pumped and you're like YEAH! let's go crash some cars! Well I mean not really but you are just really excited after watching an action or at least I am. But imagine this in a book and you have to imagine everything for yourself. Well except I am very imaginative and love action movies so this was just insane in my brain. I couldn't take it. My brain was aching like Harry Potter did. In fact it hurts as I'm writing this. Well it maybe exploding bc I have also been studying chemistry at the same time. So my brain can't retain all the information it has just absorbed in 12 hours. Stupid brain. I thought you were better then that. I may have been that I was probably using a good majority of my brain at once and its not used to that. Left brain and right brain. ha. I recommend to read the whole harry potter series, but I'd definitely skip the epilogue if I could do it again. I like to use my imagination to wonder where the characters that I have built in my brain would have gone. The book is supposed to take place in real time so putting them a world that doesn't exist yet 2016 is crazy talk.

I would highly recommend you download the digital sampler from insound it really is quite glorious. They usually have a great recommendations of music. That is probably how I have a bunch of artists that I really like. In fact that is how I found one of my favorite music venues. The hype machine is also another one of my favorite things. I don't think I love it as much as my sister, Emily. But I would say it is pretty high. My limewire doesn't work on our wireless for some reason. But go download that sampler it is really perfect and you can't believe that it is over after 15 songs.

There is a lot of things that I really can't believe are over. Such a monumental summer and it isn't over, but I would say this is probably the climax of the summer. Unless you count the trip to Graceland. I almost typed grassland. Silly me.

I feel like I should tell you about the prank call I got the other day because it was quite funny. But all in all it was still a prank and the person disturbed my sleep and freaked me out for a little bit.
