It was the thought that maybe I would do something for myself. As I laid down on the train tracks I thought, " this is going to be great for my figure, right?"
"OH YES IT WILL!", announced the gathering crowd.

He unlatched his helmet and placed it on the table. It didn't look right so he turned the table around. She walked into the kitchen and asked, "why have the tables turned?" He replied, "because that's the way I want it to be from now on."

It's Not Scary Until It Happens

The other night I had a dream that the world had a regular occurances of locusts. They moved in and out like fronts of weather. It was so normal that it was broadcasted like weather. Today we have a front of locust coming from the north and moving down towards the central Illinois. Frankly, it was one of the worse nightmare I had in a while.
The dream consisted of me and my friends wanting to drive to Chicago, but I had to get back to St. Louis by one. We were trying to rationalize when would be the best time to leave and get back. We considered that it would take 2 hours to get there and get back, BUT we had to make more time because there was a severe locust warning that we would have to drive through. Imagine driving through a swarm of locusts. Terrifying.
Well I wondered why in the world would I have a dream so I went to a dream dictionary and looked up locusts. I didn't think locusts would have any meaning or that other people would also have locusts in their dreams, but it means that I am lacking creative and emotional stimulation...

bah. lately i have drinking a lot of items that taste like cough syrup. cherry coffee and grape fanta.

bah. work is taking so much out of me. it's the last week for this year but i am so tired.

bah. class. how is it possible to learn new material while studying for a final.

bah. it's so cold.

bah. i need the sun. i think i'm getting depressed without it.

bah.i'm trapped and i can't get out.

bah. my mind is talking really loudly and i can't get it to stop.

bah.help me.

bah. quiet sobs.

Those Results Never Lie

The chalk hits the blackboard and crumbles. He grabs another one, but just as soon as he picks it up it turns into dust. He's coughing now. His students wait patiently as he continues to struggle to pick up a piece of chalk. He nervously laughs, "this never happens to me". A student gives a sympathetic chuckle.

Giving up on the chalk, he decides to use the projector. The student's eyes reveal a sign of contempt and annoyance. So close. Before taking his seat behind the projector, the fan blows hot dry air into his chest. He sips from his thermos which is believed to have coffee, but actually contains hot mint chocolate.

He begins his lecture. Ring. A cellphone goes off. Ring.
